As you might notice, I have only been around photography for a short period of time. Back in the year 2010 I finally had the opportunity of buying a DSLR camera (a Canon EOS Rebel XS) which was recently replaced by the T2i. In regards to lenses, my equipment list is pretty short at this moment. My favorite lenses are the Canon 100-300mm f 4.5-5.6 EF USM which was given to me by a person whom I really admire, my uncle and one of my biggest inspirations, Dan Demczuk, and the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro which lets me peek into a world that we rarely see. I personally think that he has great photography and would like for you visitors to also see his work. Please click here to view his gallery. How did it all start? I've always been fascinated by nature in all its forms. From a simple leaf to a lonely bug in a brush to an amazing looking bird. I take great joy from watching animals go on about their daily routines. I always wanted to record that moment in my memory but thought it wasn't enough. I needed to show the world what I saw and appreciated. So after saving many pennies, I got my first camera. Once I had my camera, it was time to learn. I read as much as I could regarding photography or anything related including subjects such as editing software and techniques. I learnt alot from my many contacts in Flickr. I have also been part of workshops and contests and a photographic exhibit held at Museo de Historia Natural Luis Gonzalo Andrade in the Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia in Tunja, Boyacá. I have always wanted to have my own website and my beautiful wife helped me achieve that dream. She is always by my side helping me carry out my ideas. The idea for this site is to display my work so that every visitor may enjoy all the wonders that my my eye might see. I sincerely hope that you enjoy my pictures just as much as I do. Como usted puede notar, sólo he estado alrededor de la fotografía durante un corto período de tiempo. Ya en el año 2010 por fin tuve la oportunidad de comprar una cámara réflex digital (una Canon EOS Rebel XS), que fue sustituida recientemente por la T2i. En lo que respecta a las lentes, mi lista de equipamiento es bastante corta en este momento. Mi favorito es el lente Canon 100-300mm f 4.5-5.6 EF USM, que me fue obsequiado por una persona a quien admiro mucho, mi tío y uno de mis mayores inspiraciones, Dan Demczuk y el Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro que me permite ver un mundo que raramente vemos. Me da mucho placer al ver los animales van en sus rutinas diarias. Siempre he querido grabar ese momento en mi memoria, pero pensé que no era suficiente. Que tenía que mostrar al mundo lo que he visto y apreciado. Así que después de mucho ahorro, conseguí mi primera cámara. Una vez que obtuve mi cámara, era el momento para aprender. Leí tanto como pude sobre la fotografía o cualquier cosa relacionada, incluyendo temas tales como el software de edición y las técnicas. Aprendí mucho de mis contactos en Flickr.
